צִיֵּן, צִיֵּין(denom. of צִיּוּן) to put up a pile, to mark. Shek. I, 1; M. Kat. I, 2 (2a) מְצַיְּינִין על הקברות Y. ed. (Bab. ed. a. Mish. את; v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note 2) graves are marked (with lime). Ib. 5b שדה … קבר רצִיְּינוּהָ (not דצ׳) a field in which a grave was lost, and which they marked. Maas. Sh.
